Corporate Accountant

Job Description:

The Corporate Accountant will be an integral part of the corporate accounting team and will be involved in all aspects of corporate accounting.

Additional responsibilities will include:

  • Participate in the preparation of accurate and timely quarterly and annual financial statements and disclosures;

  • Prepare and/or review account reconciliations and analysis;

  • Assist with the coordination of the annual financial statement audit with external auditors;

  • Assist in the consolidation of multiple corporate entities; and

  • Work closely with Investment Fund accounting teams to gather information necessary to prepare corporate financial statements and disclosures.

Job Requirements:
  • The successful candidate will have outstanding initiative and a strong work ethic;

  • The candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills; and

  • He/She will be team-oriented and must possess strong integrity and professionalism

  • A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting, CPA preferred;

  • 2-5 years accounting experience, public accounting or mix of public and private;

  • Proficiency in Microsoft EXCEL and Word;

  • Exposure to SEC reporting and Sarbanes Oxley desired;

  • Solid analytical skills and

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles
