• Review and then evolve service and systems approach to meet appropriate best practices
  
  
• Oversee the overall IT infrastructure including network, hardware, software, connectivity and telephony (largely through vendor relationships)
  
  
• Keep the Client's SaaS solution running efficiently 24 x 7
  
  
• Coordinate with the Application Engineering team in maintenance and deployment of the SaaS solution
  
  
• Plan and manage IT spending and resourcing
  
  
• Deploy, configure and maintain tools that enable corporate and technical teams
  
  
• Manage hardware and third party software lifecycles (renewals / end-of-life)
  
  
• Drive third party vendor/ datacenter relationships for cost, quality and SLA
  
  
• Plan for backup and disaster recovery including test
  
  
• Contribute to the growth and evolution of the company’s SaaS architecture
  
  
• Lead the successful development of infrastructure on a private cloud environment
  
  
• Organize, coordinate and lead a small team of IT engineers and consultants
  
  
• Report on overall product and resource usage (KPI dashboards)
  
  
• Oversee and coordinate monitoring and response across internal and external resources

• 7-10 years of experience in building, scaling and maintaining robust enterprise IT infrastructure
  
  
• Hands on experience in building and maintaining infrastructure running 24 x 7 SaaS solutions with a strong customer focus
  
  
• IT planning and budgeting experience.
  
  
• Experience in managing and working with remote teams a plus.
  
  
• Product and service vendor management experience.
  
  
• Strong problem solving, interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
  
  
• Networking architectures and configurations
  
  
• Administering clusters of Windows and Linux machines
  
  
• Load balancing and web server configurations
  
  
• Messaging infrastructure and web based applications
  
  
• Storage solutions
