Job Description:
- Developing and implementing strategies threat analysis and vulnerability assessments
- Performing log analysis and participating in the incident response lifecycle
- Evaluating and recommending procedures to mitigate risks as revealed by the incident response lifecycle
- Using Microsoft SCCM, ArcSight SIEM, and other tools to help audit, prevent, respond, or remediate security incidents
- Supporting compliance requirements for security purposes
- Evaluating and documenting security events
- Evaluating and proposing the implementation of best security practices
- Performing vulnerability assessments as required
Job Requirements:
- 5-10 years of experience
- BA degree required
- Windows, Linux/UNIX server platforms
- Windows, Mac, and mobile client platforms
- Microsoft SCCM, HP ArcSight SIEM, and other tools for log review
- Identity, Security, and Access management concerns (e.g. LDAP, web SSO, etc.)
- Relational databases (e.g. Oracle, MS SQL, etc.)
- Software as a Service (SaaS) / Cloud computing
- Internet protocols, open standards, and surrounding network technologies
- Messaging and collaboration systems
- Disaster recovery, business continuity planning
- CISSP certification or ability to obtain one
- Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, IEEE, IEC, NECT-CIP standards, AGA, NRC, PCI, and other industry and regulatory compliance requirements
- Experience in documentation to clearly articulate technical designs, procedures, etc.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills regarding technical concepts
