Job Description:
- Interacting with all functional areas across the company in completing marketing requests, including but not limited to portfolio management, accounting, compliance, and legal;
- Responding to ad hoc external and internal requests within deadlines;
- Responding to client requests and performing special analytical projects;
- Calculating performance for client accounts and related indices;
- Conduct, as necessary, competitor analysis, performance analysis, and work with accounting professionals to organize fund-level data on a quarterly basis for reporting purposes.
- Supporting the AUM team for AUM calculations;
- Creating and maintaining the information used in fundraise marketing materials;
- Updating and performing quality control on consultant website databases;
- Maintaining internal databases;
Job Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience within a finance or accounting role, preferably within the investment management industry.
- Strong analytical and writing skills.
- Proven track record in organization and servicing clients.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access.
- Outstanding initiative and a strong work ethic.
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong quantitative skills supported by an ability to apply a clear understanding of underlying finance and investment concepts, particularly those related to fixed income, private equity and real estate
- Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple projects.
- Team-oriented and must possess strong integrity and professionalism.
- A Bachelor’s degree is required. Advanced degree preferred.
