Job Description:
Responsible for creating/reviewing all security master setups in the OMS and Accounting systems;
Act as data steward responsible for maintaining consistent, accurate and complete Security Master data within the OMS and Accounting systems by executing routine and targeted data maintenance tasks;
Work closely with IT to develop specifications, test and enhance tools / applications necessary in keeping data up to date, complete and accurate;
Coordinate and work closely with Company business units/Data Owners/Data Vendors/Gold Copy sources to ensure reconciliation items are resolved in a timely manner;
Ensure that data issues are addressed and data updates are performed in accordance with the Data Owner’s expectations;
Execute and manage ad hoc special reconciliation projects and meet specified deadlines;
Support Pricing Manager during month end closing; and
Act as a backup while Pricing Manager is out of the office i.e., ensure prices are loaded with 100% accuracy in the OMS and Accounting systems in a timely manner in order to meet service level agreements

Required Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree is required;
Eight years experience in financial services investment management middle and back office operations;
Knowledge of Security Master Characteristics of Bank Debt, Bonds, Equity, CDS, Total Return Swaps, Interest Rate Swaps, Currency Forwards, Convertibles, Preferred Equity, Options, Warrants, Rights and Private Placements;
Accounting experience and/or knowledge of downstream and upstream implications to the financial statements of changes to security master attributes;
Knowledge of Trade Processing and Settlement;
Proficient with Advent Geneva Fund Accounting System;
Advanced knowledge of BB APIs and Excel.
