It’s very important when you answer this question to always make sure it relates to the current position for which you are interviewing. Never EVER lose focus on that. Why highlight one aspect of your job, when it has nothing to do with the job you are applying to? So be careful with this. Focus on the following:

• What you describe in your roles and responsibilities at each company you have worked with needs to be consistent and similar to the job you are interviewing. So highlight those duties you did as they relate to the job you want now.
  
  
• Caveat: careful when discussing your past employers and what you did. As you may mention why you left, make sure to be consistent with what you will write on that application. Never negate, never put down, always focus on either ‘career opportunity’, or relocation, or wanting to try something different, etc. Don’t say that you hated your manager, that the firm never gave you a raise, etc.
